In our department, there are design workplaces and writing studios as well as classes where theoretical courses are held. In addition, there are two theatre stages in our department called Metin And and Muhsin Ertuğrul.  Here, practical works are carried out and plays meet with the audience every year.

For each major art branch, students should take 30 ECTS in one semester of 240 ECTS courses during a total of 8 semesters of education, and successfully complete these courses. In addition, each student is obliged to prepare a graduation project in the 8th semester and defend their project in front of a jury consisting of department lecturers. Every student who successfully completes the program and achieves the program qualifications, gains the right to graduate from the Performing Arts Department with a Bachelor's degree.

Graduates of the department can work in state theaters, city theaters and private theaters as well as Radio-TV, cinema industry, TV series, commercials etc. in fields of their major branches of art they graduated from. In addition, graduate students can continue their postgraduate programs doing master degree and proficiency in art.
