Textile and Fashion Design Education, which includes many science and art disciplines, aims to train professional artists in the field of Weaving, Printing, Fashion and Accessory design. This program takes the student for four years; It aims to train creative and productive designers in accordance with the needs of the textile industry by equipping them with technical and aesthetic knowledge and skills in Weaving Design, Print Design, Clothing Design, Fashion-Accessory Design. In addition to basic education and vocational design courses for four years, the education supported by art-culture courses, various art science conferences, seminars, technical trips and internships is complemented by diploma work. Our department has a weaving workshop, a pattern workshop, a fashion workshop, and a computer workshop. Our students can benefit from Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana exchange programs. Our graduates can be employed as Textile and Fashion Designers in public or private sector textile factories or independent pattern studios or as education staff in Textile and Fashion Design Departments of universities.
