"Colors That Come to Life in Water" Meets Art Lovers

The exhibition "Colors Refined in Water," prepared by Havva Genç, was presented to art lovers at the Exhibition Hall of our University's Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF).

The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, Deputy Deans Assoc. Prof. Tuğba Kodal and Dr. Münire Yıldız, academic and administrative staff, and students. Speaking at the opening, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç stated that the Faculty of Fine Arts continues to contribute to cultural life through artistic activities, saying, “Today, we are very happy to be together with you again for another wonderful event. This exhibition, which focuses on the art of marbling, one of the important areas of traditional Turkish arts, features 28 works consisting of both classical marbling techniques and the artist's original interpretations. We thank our professor both for his contributions to student training and for bringing these valuable works to us. It is quite valuable to have the opportunity to see such high-quality works in Isparta. May his efforts, heart, and art be blessed.”

The works featured in the exhibition combine the deep-rooted aesthetic tradition of marbling art with contemporary interpretations through their unique patterns formed on the surface of water.
