Inspired by Shakespeare, the Fashion Show Returns to the Stage: “Fabrics Dancing in the Magic of Words”

The thematic fashion show titled “Fabrics Dancing in the Magic of Words,” brought to life by students of the SDU Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Textile and Fashion Design, and which attracted great interest last May, will be staged again on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, due to the intense demand from art lovers.

Curated by Dr. Özgün CAN and Fashion Designer Özlem TÜMBEK, this special event features costumes inspired by Shakespeare's magical world. Designed and sewn by students from the Department of Textile and Fashion Design, these outfits creatively bring together literature and fashion.

The fashion show aims to bridge the disciplines of art and design, offering viewers both a visual and emotional experience.
