Mustafa Öztürk Painting Exhibition at SDU

The “Painting Exhibition” prepared by Dr. Mustafa Öztürk, Assistant Professor at Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, was presented to art lovers at the Fine Arts Faculty Art Gallery of Süleyman Demirel University.

The opening of the exhibition was marked by a speech from Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Prof. Dr. Genç emphasized that such events organized within the university offer students important artistic experiences, stating, "We are delighted to welcome a distinguished artist from another city to our faculty today. I would like to thank Professor Mustafa Öztürk for bringing us together with his works and wish him continued success."

Following the opening speech, Prof. Dr. Genç presented artist Mustafa Öztürk with a certificate of appreciation.

Providing insight into the artistic production process, Assistant Professor Öztürk stated that he draws inspiration from nature in his work, saying, “I try to interpret forms found in nature with a gestural and abstract approach. In my works, I value the balance created by contrasting colors and gestural arrangements. I try to reflect my inner world through these colors and gestural play.”

The artist, who also noted that Isparta holds a special meaning for him, said, “I began my art education in this city. Exhibiting my works here again after all these years is very precious to me.”

The “Mustafa Öztürk Painting Exhibition” will be open to visitors at the SDU Faculty of Fine Arts Art Gallery until October 17, 2025.
