Philosophy Students Experienced Natural Root Dyeing at the Faculty of Fine Arts
Within the scope of the "History of Turkish Thought" course, led by Prof. Dr. Kevser Çelik from the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, a "natural root dyeing workshop" was held at our Faculty with the participation of students.

The workshop, organized on April 30, 2026, was conducted by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, Assoc. Prof. Tuğba Kodal, and artist Havva Genç.

Before the program, students were hosted at the Dean's office.

The participants then moved to the dyeing workshop, where they performed hands-on applications on t-shirts using natural dyeing techniques.

While providing an opportunity to translate theoretical knowledge into practice and to get to know traditional dyeing methods closely, the event also contributed to students from different disciplines experiencing the production process in another field.

At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Kevser Çelik thanked Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç for his contributions and presented him with a plaque.
