The "Aesthetics of Fire: Simurg" Exhibition Meets Art Lovers.

The solo exhibition titled "The Aesthetics of Fire: Simurg," prepared by Dr. Ayşen Çam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Süleyman Demirel University, met with art lovers at an opening ceremony.

 

The opening of the exhibition, held in the Faculty of Fine Arts Exhibition Hall, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, the Vice Dean Assoc. Dr. Tuğba Kodal, as well as academics and administrative staff.

 

 

Dr. Ayşen Çam, Assistant Professor, stated that the exhibition features 15 works produced using the raku technique, and that the theme of the exhibition is the Simurg bird, born from fire. Dr. Çam emphasized that each crack in the works symbolizes a struggle, and each mark symbolizes a transformation, adding, "These birds, brought to life in the aesthetics of fire, invite the viewer to witness the rebirth of the ancient bond between humanity and nature."

 

The exhibition will remain open to visitors until July 20, 2026.
