The "Crescent Star" themed exhibition, hosted by Süleyman Demirel University's Faculty of Fine Arts and prepared by Anadolu University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Arts Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağlar Okur, was presented to art lovers with an opening ceremony held at SDÜ's Faculty of Fine Arts.

The exhibition, which explores the star and crescent, one of Turkey's long-established symbols, from different perspectives, opened with the participation of academics, students, and visitors. The opening was attended by Faculty of Fine Arts Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Kodal, Assistant Professor Münire Yıldız, and Graphic Design Department Head Prof. Dr. Yusuf Keş.
Speaking at the opening, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağlar Okur stated that having different perspectives opens new perspectives on life and that the exhibition was prepared with this understanding. Okur emphasized that the dimensions of the Turkish flag conform to "real and standard flag dimensions," emphasizing that the color red is a unique distinction of the Turkish nation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Okur emphasized that the star and crescent is not a symbol unique to the Republican era, saying, "The history of the star and crescent is as old as the history of the Turks. Therefore, it is our responsibility to protect it in every way."
