The student exhibition prepared within the scope of the Draping and Accessories Course at SDÜ Faculty of Fine Arts has opened
The mixed exhibition prepared by the students of the Textile and Fashion Design Department of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Fine Arts was opened to the public with the participation of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mustafa GENÇ, the Vice Deans Assoc. Prof. Tuğba KODAL and Assist. Prof. Münire YILDIZ, and the faculty's esteemed faculty members and administrative staff.
This academic work, conducted under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Muazzez ÇETİNER, consists of nine original works prepared by 3rd-year students. Providing information about the selection, which is on display in the faculty's exhibition area, ÇETİNER stated that the work aims to combine three-dimensional forms obtained through draping techniques with a detailed approach to accessory design within an academic discipline.

This mixed selection, opened to visitors within the faculty with the participation of the Director of the Institute of Fine Arts, Assoc. Prof. Deniz ÇELİKER, represents an interdisciplinary synthesis of the theoretical and practical achievements of the Fashion and Accessory Design and Draping courses. Comprising 15 original designs, the exhibition, as a projection of "three-dimensional thinking" in design education, integrates the draping methodology—where fabric escapes from the plane and gains volume on the mannequin—with the micro-scale, detail-oriented aesthetics of accessory design.

The works featured in the exhibition explore social and ecological issues such as environmental pollution, endangered species, and the imposed beauty standards imposed on women, using the artistic language of textiles. This thematic approach, supported by the reprocessing of waste materials and denim surfaces, draws attention to sustainable awareness.
