The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç, the Deputy Deans Assoc. Prof. Tuğba Kodal and Dr. Münire Yıldız, as well as academic and administrative staff, students, and their families.

Speaking at the opening, Dean Prof. Dr. Mustafa Genç emphasized that art is a universal value that brings goodness, peace, and beauty to humanity, and stated that the Faculty of Fine Arts' educational philosophy is based on these values. Drawing attention to the wars, injustices, and human rights violations in the world, Genç stated that art is a powerful form of expression that develops sensitivity to social problems. He added that the works in the exhibition are not only the result of aesthetic production but also reflect the students' thoughts and sensitivities regarding the problems of their time, and that artists, as individuals bearing social responsibility, should not remain indifferent to the events taking place.

Professor Dr. Genç stated that the students had gained significant knowledge and experience through their hard work throughout their four-year education, and expressed his belief that the graduating students would continue to create art in their future lives, contributing to their environment, their country, and humanity.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Genç also thanked the academic staff who contributed to the education of the students, expressing his satisfaction with the successful works of the faculty and students from the Graphic Design Department, Traditional Turkish Arts Department, Textile and Fashion Design Department, and Painting Department featured in the exhibition.
