Müzik Bölümü; Müzik Bilimi alanında ülkemizin gereksinim duyduğu müzik bilimciler yetiştirmeyi hedefler. Müziğin sanatsal ve kültürel olgu olarak incelenmesinde gerekli olan yöntem ve tekniklerin öğretilmesini ve konuyla ilgili kültürel birikimi sağlar. Özel Yetenek Sınavları sonrası 4 yıllık Türkçe eğitim-öğretim veren bölümümüz, Bologna Öğretim Programı çerçevesinde 4 yıllık süreye yayılmış çeşitli zorunlu ve seçmeli derslere sahiptir. Mezuniyet için 180 zorunlu 60 seçmeli olmak üzere tüm derslerin AKTS toplamının 4 yılın sonunda en az 240 olması gerekir. Aynı zamanda ilk 2 yılın sonunda ayrılmak isteyen öğrencilere ön lisans diploması verilebilir. Mezuniyet sonrası iş olanakları arasında Belediye Kültür ve Sosyal İşler Müdürlükleri ve Kültür Bakanlığı’nın ilgili birimlerinde tanıtım ve halkla ilişkilere yönelik uzmanlıklar ön plana çıkmaktadır. Öğrencilerimiz ayrıca Eğitim Fakültelerinin formasyon fark derslerini dışardan alarak Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı kurumlarda (devlet okulları, özel okullar, özel müzik kursları, halk eğitim merkezleri gibi) Müzik Öğretmeni olarak da görev yapabilmektedir. Department of Music; It aims to train music scientists that our country needs in the field of Music Science. It provides the teaching of the methods and techniques necessary to examine music as an artistic and cultural phenomenon and the cultural accumulation on the subject. Our department, which provides 4 years of Turkish education after the Special Aptitude Exams, has various compulsory and elective courses spread over a 4-year period within the framework of the Bologna Curriculum. For graduation, the total ECTS score of all courses, including 180 compulsory and 60 electives, must be at least 240 at the end of 4 years. At the same time, students who want to leave at the end of the first 2 years can be given an associate degree. Among the job opportunities after graduation, specializations in promotion and public relations in the Municipal Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs and the relevant units of the Ministry of Culture come to the fore. Our students can also work as Music Teachers in institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education (such as public schools, private schools, private music courses, public education centers) by taking the formation difference courses of the Faculties of Education.
